About us…
ABADA-Capoeira (Brazilian Association for the Support and Development of the Art of Capoeira) UK is a non-profit organization that provides social, cultural and educational services to children, youth and the elderly through the means of Capoeira and other related activities.


The UK group was founded in January 2003 . Manjerico, the teacher, is a member of the ABADA-Capoeira since 1997 and has been involved in teaching Capoeira since 1999. He is a fully recognized teacher of the same institution.

Since the creation ABADA UK, Manjerico has been teaching children, youth and adults in East, Central and West London. He has also been involved in several social projects (compromising capoeira, theatre and dance) such as teaching special needs and refugees groups and has developed collaborations with various dance and physical theatre groups in London.
